Snaefellsnes may seem a bit difficult for foreigners, but it translates to Snow Mount’s Peninsula. It is a long narrow peninsula sticking out of Iceland into the North Atlantic to the West. This area is an artist dream as there are so many beautiful scenic views both on and off the beaten path. Shreve captured this unique image while standing next to one of the most scenic waterfalls while including Kirkufell Mountain in the background.
